Man dies in accident with farm equipment

PANDORA, Ohio (AP) -- A man apparently was trying to clear a jammed belt in a wagon he used to shoot sawdust for bedding into his racehorse barn when he was pulled into the grinder and killed, the sheriff said Tuesday.
The type of equipment Mark A. Grismore was killed by Monday typically is used to break up crop material and then shoot it into a silo.
A conveyer belt pulling the sawdust through the wagon and into the chopping tines got jammed, and Grismore apparently climbed on top of the sawdust to try to push it through, Putnam County Sheriff James Beutler said.
Grismore, 61, was pulled into grinding apparatus within the dump-truck-size wagon, Beutler said.
Grismore's wife discovered the accident soon after.
