HEALTH CARE
YOUNGSTOWN -- Humility of Mary Health Partners has announced several new appointments. Molly Letcher was named administrative director of the Center for Comprehensive Weight Loss at St. Elizabeth Health Center. She has a master's degree in nursing from Kent State University and lives in Warren. She had been director of the behavioral health unit and counseling center for University Hospital Health System Laurelwood Hospital in Willoughby, Ohio.
Jill S. Townsend of Warren is the new director of HM Home Care and Home Therapies. She has a bachelor's degree in nursing and a master's in business administration, both from Youngstown State University. She had been a nurse manager in the Warren office of HM Home Care.
Christine H. Scherer, a Cortland resident, was named assistant director of HM Home Care. She has a nursing diploma from Trumbull Memorial Hospital, a bachelor's degree in nursing from The Pennsylvania State University and a master's in nursing from Gannon University in Erie, Pa. She had been a quality manager for the agency.
Patty Melnykovich of Lake Milton is the new employee health manager for HMHP. Certified as an emergency nurse practitioner at Methodist Hospital in Nebraska, she has a master's degree in medical surgical nursing, clinical nurse specialist, from Kent State University, and is studying for a bachelor's degree in human resource management from Youngstown State University. She had been employed as health nurse for St. Elizabeth Health Center and as a leave-of-absence case manager for HMHP.
William G. Johnson Jr., a Boardman resident, has been appointed operations manager for the pharmacy at St. Elizabeth Health Center. He had been a staff pharmacist at St. Elizabeth's and has held pharmacy manager and director positions at Coram Healthcare and MVI Home Care.
BANKING
SALEM -- KeyCorp has appointed Karen J. Cessna a vice president and relationship manager of Key Corporate Banking. Cessna, formerly a relationship manager for Key PrivateBank, will develop loan and deposit strategies and financial solutions for businesses in the Mahoning Valley. A Youngstown State University graduate, she was a YSU 1999 MBA Alumna of the Year.
TRAINING
YOUNGSTOWN -- Mahoning and Columbiana Training Association announced the promotion of Bathsheba Daniel to Career Consultant. Daniel joined MCTA in 2001 and was one of its program participants at one time. She will provide case management for customers ages 14-21.
