YOUNGSTOWN Burglaries



From 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 p.m. Thursday, 11 burglaries were reported to police:
10:30 a.m.: 3100 block of Pine Hollow, second-floor window screen removed and storm window pushed up. Nintendo games were taken. Police have a lead on the suspects.
11:15 a.m.: 100 block of West Boston, side door and interior doors pried open. House was ransacked. Washer, dryer, two TVs, computer and boy's bike stolen.
Noon: 700 block of East Dewey, south rear door pried open and dresser drawer rifled. Sony PlayStation, video game system and video games, man's watch, cologne and cell phone taken.
1:15 p.m.: 300 block Greenwood, storm door broken out on enclosed porch. Nintendo game stolen. Police have a lead.
2 p.m.: Apartment in 900 block of Martin Luther King, front door forced open. TV, three men's suits, overcoat and gold jewelry taken.
4:25 p.m.: 300 block of Breaden, screen ripped on second story and window opened. VCR and jewelry taken. Police have a lead.
5:30 p.m.: 100 block of Hilton, back door had been left open. Entertainment center with TV and VCR, digital cable box and microwave stolen. Police have a lead on a suspect.
8:03 p.m.: 600 block of Lee, rear door kicked in on second floor. Two TVs and Timberland boots taken. Police have a lead on a suspect.
9 p.m.: 100 block of East Myrtle, front door had been left unlocked. Nintendo system and two Sony systems stolen.
10:45 p.m.: 50 block of Brooklyn, rear door forced open and house ransacked. Camcorder, 100 CDs and VCR missing.
11:15 p.m.: 400 block of Almyra, front door kicked in. No loss reported. The two suspects are under 13 or 14 years old.
