Flu shots are offered at these times and locations:
Youngstown YMCA, 17 N. Champion St., 8:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday; Youngstown YWCA, 25 W. Rayen Ave., 8:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday; both sponsored by the Youngstown City Health Department. Flu shots are $10; pneumonia shots, $15. Medicare Part B recipients must bring their card. No appointment is necessary. Call (330) 743-3333.
Campbell Health Department, 351 Tenney Ave., 2-4 p.m. Friday. Flu shots are $10. Medicare is accepted. No appointment is necessary. Call (330) 755-2173 for information on the cost of pneumonia shots to be given that day.
Niles Tops Friendly Market, 5772 Youngstown-Warren Road, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday. The flu shot is $20; the pneumonia vaccine $25. Medicare Part B participants who are not a member of an HMO will not have to pay. Call (330) 652-8202.
Shenango Valley Mall, Hermitage, Pa., 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday. Shots will be administered by Concordia Care Center in a first-come, first-served basis. May be covered by health insurance plans; recipients should bring health insurance cards with them.
Visiting Nurse Association of Youngstown, 518 E. Indianola Ave., 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday. No appointment is necessary. Cost is $15. Medicare Part B is accepted. Call (300) 782-5606.
