NFL ROUNDUP Sunday's other games

AFC
Patriots 38, Bills 7
At Orchard Park, N.Y., Bledsoe's team never was in it at his replacement in New England, Tom Brady completed 23 of 27 passes for 310 yards and four touchdowns, helping the defending Super Bowl champs (4-4) end their four-game losing streak. Former Bills running back Antowain Smith ran for 111 yards and a touchdown and also caught two TD passes from Brady. Bledsoe, playing against his old team for the first time since he was traded to the Bills last April, was 28-of-45 for 302 yards and a 1-yard TD pass to Peerless Price. Buffalo (5-4) had won three straight.
Jets 44, Chargers 13
At San Diego, the Jets (3-5) got a punt return for a touchdown from Santana Moss for the second straight game. Chad Pennington threw for one touchdown and ran for another, and New York's defense limited LaDainian Tomlinson to 60 yards rushing., The Chargers (6-2) wore their powder-blue throwback jerseys and left looking like powderpuffs.
Titans 23, Colts 15
At Indianapolis, the Titans tied the Colts for the AFC South lead at 4-4. It was Tennessee's third straight win, and the Colts' third straight loss. Keith Bulluck returned a fumble 61 yards for one touchdown, and Peter Sirmon's interception led to another TD. Eddie George gained 95 yards for the Titans. Peyton Manning completed 37 of 50 passes for 327 yards and two touchdowns, but the Colts' running game generated just 80 yards without injured Edgerrin James.
NFC
Rams 27, Cardinals 14
At Tempe, Ariz., Marshall Faulk had another big day despite feeling ill, carrying the resurgent Rams to their third successive win after dropping their first five. Faulk had 178 yards rushing, sealing the victory on a 13-yard touchdown with 1:53 to play. The Rams are 19-0 when Faulk reaches triple digits in rushing. He also caught five passes for 58 yards. Marc Bulger, 3-0 as the starter in the absence of injured Kurt Warner, was 20-of-29 for 245 yards and two touchdowns. Down by six, the Cardinals (4-4) went for a fourth-and-4 from their 30. Jake Plummer's pass to Frank Sanders was ruled a trap, and the call withstood an Arizona replay challenge.
Bucs 38, Vikings 24
At Tampa, Fla., the Buccaneers' finally showed some offensive spark under first-year coach Jon Gruden. Brad Johnson, who missed a game with a broken rib, completed 19 of 31 passes for 313 yards, five touchdowns and no interceptions. Keyshawn Johnson had nine receptions for 133 yards and two TDs -- all season highs. The Bucs (7-2) matched the best nine-game start in their history, equaling the 1979 team. Minnesota (2-6) has lost 15 straight road games, including the playoffs. But Michael Bennett ran for 114 yards, including an 85-yard touchdown that was the longest run in Vikings history.
Eagles 19, Bears 13
At Champaign, Ill., Philadelphia (6-2) shut out the Bears (2-6) in the second half, handing Chicago its sixth consecutive loss. Hugh Douglas, who knocked Jim Miller out of a playoff game in January by slamming him to the turf during an interception return, sacked the quarterback on third down from the Eagles 24 with 17 seconds to go. Miller, who had missed the previous two games with injuries, threw too high for Marcus Robinson on fourth down. David Akers kicked four second-half field goals for the Eagles.
Lions 9, Cowboys 7
At Detroit, Jason Hanson's three field goals, including a 43-yarder with 48 seconds left, helped the Lions (3-5) surpass last year's victory total. The Lions were 2-14 in 2001. One game after breaking Walter Payton's NFL record for career rushing yardage, Emmitt Smith ran for just 39 yards on 16 carries. Smith's backup, Troy Hambrick, got Dallas' only score on a 3-yard TD run that put the Cowboys (3-6) ahead 7-6 with 7:42 left.
Redskins 14, Seahawks 3
At Seattle, Kenny Watson ran for 110 yards in place of injured starter Stephen Davis, and Shane Matthews threw two first-half touchdowns passes for the Redskins (4-4).
The Seahawks (2-6) gave up four sacks and lost linebacker Chad Brown for the season with a broken right foot.
INTERCONFERENCE
Falcons 20, Ravens 17
At Atlanta, the Falcons (5-3) won their fourth straight after squandering a 14-point lead. The last time they won four in a row, they went to the Super Bowl. After two straight brilliant outings, Michael Vick completed only 12 of 24 passes for 136 yards. The second-year quarterback also was sacked three times, had minus-5 yards rushing, fumbled twice and threw his first interception of the season. Without Ray Lewis and starting quarterback Chris Redman, the Ravens (3-5) rallied behind backup QB Jeff Blake, who directed two TD drives -- including a season-long 92-yarder -- to tie it at 17. But Atlanta's Jay Feely kicked a 40-yard field goal.
Giants 24, Jaguars 17
At East Rutherford, N.J., Tiki Barber ran for 101 yards and scored on runs of 2 and 44 yards as the Giants (4-4) broke out of a scoring slump. Coach Jim Fassel took over play-calling duties from offensive coordinator Sean Payton and it also paid off in Kerry Collins' replay review-aided 8-yard touchdown pass to Ron Dixon in helping the Giants (4-4) snap a two-game losing streak. Tim Seder kicked a 24-yard field goal and Mark Brunell threw fourth-quarter touchdown passes of 14 yards to Bobby Shaw and 9 to Jimmy Smith for Jacksonville (3-5), which has dropped four straight.
