XSTRUTHERS -- United in marriage Oct. 12 at St. Nicholas Church were Therese Gondel and Thomas Mozzy, both of 5834 Water St., Poland.
The Rev. David Misbrener officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony for the daughter of Thomas and Kathleen Gondel, 351 Ferndale Ave., Youngstown, and the son of Thomas and Ruth Mozzy, 645 Elm St.
After a reception at The Elm Tree the couple left on a wedding trip to Aruba.
They live at the Poland address.
The bride's A-line ivory silk gown was trimmed in rum-pink beading, pearls and iridescents. Her veil was gathered to an antique-style tiara.
Chocolate-brown and taupe gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Bonnie Len, and the bridesmaids, Marie Mozzy, Jennifer Sayavich, Kirsten Harris, Stacey Slater, Joivanna Straight, Christine Ferrick, Lisa Carson and Becky Holtsman. Flower girl was Abbie Mozzy.
Serving as best man was Fred Mozzy, and groomsmen were Joe Gondel, Mike Gondel, Marc Len, Brian Kelly, Brian Blazek, John Mogulich, Rody Rothrauff, Ray Nemeth and Jason Ferrick. Ring bearers were Parker Sayavich, Patrick Kale and Jason T. Ferrick.
The bride holds a master's degree in English literature from Youngstown State University and is a free-lance writer and a stylist with Marlo and Maxx Salon in Boardman.
The groom is vice president of South Pacific Imports.
