XAUSTINTOWN -- The Revs. James Korda and Joseph Zamary presided at 2 p.m. Oct. 5 as Maureen Gorman and Scott Stenglein, both of Austintown, were united in marriage at St. Joseph Church.
Afterward the daughter of Joseph and Denise Gorman of Austintown and the son of Millie Berkenyi of Austintown and the late Clair Stenglein were honored at a reception held at Antone's Banquet Center, Boardman.
The couple left on a wedding trip to the Pocono Mountains. They live in Austintown.
The bride is an assistant manager at Citi Financial Inc., Hubbard, and the groom is a deputy sheriff with Mahoning County Sheriff's Department in Youngstown.
The bodice of the bride's strapless gown was enhanced with beading, and the full organza skirt flowed into a chapel train.
Honor attendants were the bride's sisters, Kerry Gorman and Lisa Tisone, and bridesmaids were Lisa Poulakos, Kimberly Conzett, Diane Cannistra and Mary Ann Wollet. Flower girls were the bride's nieces, Rachel Gorman and Valerie Tisone.
Gary Wollet and James Weir shared the duties of best man, and groomsmen were James Galich, Michael Salser, Vince DeNiro and the groom's brother, Greg Stenglein. Ring bearer was Nicholas Tisone, the bride's nephew and godson.
