Bushes observe 50th anniversary at dinner party



XYOUNGSTOWN -- Mr. and Mrs. Joseph J. Bush Jr., 1153 Redtail Hawk Court, were honored during a family dinner party held Oct. 26 at Johnny's Restaurant in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Hosts for the event were their children and their spouses, Atty. Joseph J. Bush III of Canfield, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Bush of Boardman, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rosati of Boardman, and Michael Bush and Atty. Christine Carsky-Bush of Saratoga Springs, N.Y. Eight grandchildren complete the family.
The former Gloria Gmuer and Mr. Bush were united in marriage Oct. 25, 1952, at All Saints Church in Pittsburgh.
Mr. Bush served with the Army Security Agency for three years during the Korean War.
The couple came to Youngstown in 1963. Mr. Bush worked for Youngstown Sheet and Tube Co. until he was transferred in 1983 to Cleveland, where he worked for LTV Steel Corp. until he retired in 1992. They moved back to Youngstown in 1998.
Mrs. Bush worked for the H.J. Heinz Co. in Pittsburgh. She is a homemaker and has served as volunteer with the Catholic Christian Doctrine at St. Charles Church, where they are members.
