XYOUNGSTOWN -- The marriage of Carrie Theodore and Jim Douda, both of 681 Cook Ave., was solemnized by the Rev. Dr. D. Larry Kline during a ceremony at 2 p.m. Oct. 20 at Trinity United Methodist Church, where a reception took place in the church hall.
Parents of the newlyweds are William and Carmella Theodore, 400 Erskine Ave., and Herb and Debbie Douda, 38 Wildwood Drive.
The couple plan a honeymoon to New Orleans later this year. They live at the Cook Avenue address.
The bride wore a two-piece satin ensemble accented with pearls.
Honor attendant was Michelle Wall of Youngstown, who wore a lilac-colored dress.
Performing the duties of best man was Adam Simon of Youngstown. Ushers were the brothers of the bride, Ryan and Paul Theodore, both of Cleveland, and Danny Theodore of Youngstown.
Mrs. Douda graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in education. She is employed as assistant manager at Chestnut Land Co.
Mr. Douda is employed as coordinator at Progressive Logistics.
